The Naeba Independence Boardwalk is the longest accessible trail in Japan reaching over 1km (0.6mile).

The wooden trail goes into the thicket (see "The Future Map") and along a beautiful river with abundant wildlife. It is spectacular in red leaves of autumn.

It is really fun to walk down the Independence Boardwalk and see all the different boards with art and signatures.It is a great idea, to have people buy a board that they can decorate with artwork.

It is supported by the Naeba MTB Cup and the Japanese biggest Rock event, Fuji Rock Festival.
