The Challenge Tour, created by Tadashi Yashiro and Team Phoenix is a highly successful, non-competitive, adventure-based, international exchange program for wheelchair users in Japan and the U.S.. Team Phoenix works towards expanding accessibility to outdoor sports and recreation for people with disabilities.

The Challenge Tour aims at making every-day life better and happier for our participants by introducing higher social welfare facilities, services, outdoor sports, and information to our participants directly. The Challenge Tour strives to demonstrate independence in sports and life. It is our hope, that Tour participant gain a greater sense of what they are capable of and how they can become more independent in everyday life.
