Arrival & Transfer
The tour kicked off in Reno, Nevada, with the arrival of the tour participants at the airport. After getting all the wheelchair mountainbikes, gear, and people loaded into 2 Mazda cars and a truck we headed south to Mammoth Mountain, California.

Mammoth NORBA National
We stayed in Mammoth where we rode mountainbikes and raced in the downhill and dual slalom events. It was great to see John Davis, Stacy Kohut, and Gerard out there, tearing up the race courses. The downhill course was a tough course with jumps, rock gardens, and off-camber sections that gave us all a good challenge. The Dual slalom course was an epic course with sweet burms, jumps, and rhythm sections.

White Water Rafting
The day started off early and we drove to the South Fork of the American River and went white water rafting with the Environmental Traveling Companions (ETC). ETC is a recreation company that provides outdoor adventures for people with special needs. The river trip had a little of everything, including whitewater sections, water canon fights, and swimming. |

Rock Climbing
The tour checked into the Resort at Squaw Creek in Tahoe. One of the most memorable events was the chance to go rock climbing with Mark Wellman. While most of us struggled up the rocky cliff face, Yoko showed off her climbing experience by making it look easy. The McGowan family invited the tour over to their beautiful home for a wonderful night of dinner, drinks, and laughter. |

Sightseeing & Dinner Party
After taking in the sights overlooking Lake Tahoe, we finally had a chance to relax and do some shopping in Tahoe City. Holly McGowan and her family hosted a dinner party at the Resort at Squaw. It was great to see Kristi and Kendal, Team Phoenix members, who joined us for dinner. |

The Independence Trail
The tour headed to Nevada City, California, where we went hiking on the Independence Trail. |

Fun-Ride
The tour stayed at O-lala Farms in North San Juan where we rode wheelchair mountainbikes. Trevor Snowden joined us for some fun and leisurely riding on O-lala Farm's downhill course. |

Departure
After packing up the bikes, sad goodbye's, and happy dreams for future adventures, the tour participants departed from the Reno airport. |
