The Purpose of Team Phoenix Racing is to create awareness of a burgeoning new sport.  Team Phoenix Racers compete in National and International mountain bike competitions going head-to-head with with able-bodied mountain bike riders and other para-atheletes alike.   

Our Philosophy has been to highlight and foster "Ability" through un-segregated competition and technological innovation.  Creating a World where we enhance ability rather than compensate for disability. Focusing on access to the outdoors and enhancing the quality of personal Lives.  

Furthermore, the Team is highly recognized for its' successes based on creative approaches in assisting people with disabilities to experience the outdoors in a new and exciting way. Team Phoenix is proud to have introduced the first Women into the sport fueled a mutual love for off road riding.  Members of the team also give various riding clinics and visit with rehabilitation hospitals to share their experiences and talk about wheelchair access issues.
